Synopsis

The Folksbiene Yiddish Theater of New York is the oldest continuously operating Yiddish theater in the world, having opened on the Lower East Side over 90 years ago.  The wonderful music and singing in the film will bring back Yiddish memories and the nostalgic story, told through interviews with veteran and aged performers from the Yiddish theatrical world, will help you appreciate the vibrancy of the Yiddish theater.
